T O P I C R E V I E WandstuffOk, long story, been hearing a lot that i might end up with an earth sign, which are all my least favourite ones despite me being a Capricorn (weak sun, shedloads of fire and Scorpio in the chart, dominant Pluto, Aqua Venus conj Mars in Pisces )So anyway, I was wondering what kind of placements can compensate for a Sun in an Earth Sign, because I have been finding Virgos too lukewarm for my liking, Capricorns too dull and undreamy and Taureans a bit too normal (sensuality that is too healthy and not spiritualised enough lets say). These are but generalisations and my overall experience, not by any means a judgment. Besides no one is a 100 dollar bill to be universally loved So I was wondering what kind of combos you have lit upon that have made Earth sign natives vibey, fiery, cool/hot, cool to be around, extremely emotional and really all things that obliterate earthiness and earthliness? Has anyone met this kind of people? What placements did they have? I feel like dying to find out I am not the only one like this, surely there must be others anonymidarknessCapricorns with Neptune and Uranus conjuncting their personal planets are not earthy. I find them interesting.StarlightSmileSupremeSince you are Capricorn, just going by sun sign, you have Scorpios and Pisces, both water signs instead of earth, and other Caps, your own sign. Caps and Pisces suns are usually okay together. Ideally, you should strive to find a Cancer sun because you will feel very happy with one of these, if their sun is opposite yours I'm so cappy quote:Originally posted by anonymidarkness:Capricorns with Neptune and Uranus conjuncting their personal planets are not earthy. Your grounded and realistic approach to issues makes you very compatible philosophically and intellectually. Over time, the two of you may become too complacent and conservative, and focus too much on mundane affairs or narrowly focused mental interests. Take time for sheer fun and enjoyment and do not become too serious. You feel you can rely on one another. Reliability is nowhere among my core needs. I am not practical. I don't want to feel secure at the expense of fun, despite a Taurus moon. Grounded and realistic are insults in my vocabulary. Virgo quote:Both of you are very practical, well-grounded people. You are responsible, trustworthy, and mature as well. CAPRICORN is a little more inclined to develop a strategy and plan for success, and have a practical scheme for advancing in career, while VIRGO tends to rely more on practical skills and personal talents. VIRGO enjoys providing a clear, tangible service to others. Your energies blend together well, and you can be a very effective team in business affairs and practical undertakings. It is possible that your relationship will be a bit dry or mundane, particularly if the romantic and/or sexual connections between you are not very strong. The joy, color, and light side of life may be missing.same thing. practical, well-grounded. whatnotfinally the worst one quote:Both of you are very practical, realistic people. You set clear goals in life and you are persistent, reliable workers that eventually reach a high level of success. Together you can build a secure and stable life. You appreciate the high level of integrity, maturity, and responsibility that you share with your partner. You could be a very successful team in business activities as well. A lack of zest and liveliness in your lives may develop, particularly if you have been married to each other for a long time. Both of you have a great deal of objectivity and emotional detachment, but this can degrade into the undesirable qualities of boredom, apathy, or heartlessness. If your relationship and your lives become too filled with mundane concerns, too centered around responsibilities and business, you should both consider engaging in light, childish activities and amusements on occasion, and remember to laugh heartily at least once a day!Rolling my eyes, really. I think others should have such boring lives filled with boredom, responsibilities etc. This is not about me and I don't want any such people in my life. Besides, I have nothing to give them. I am not a wife, not a mother, not a book keeper. They have nothing to offer me either. I am a crazy artist with my hair in a mess. They don't want me and I don't want them. Parallel worlds. Plus as I said earth energy in general allows no possibility of intimacy as a spiritual experience, and I don't want any healthy earthly relationships, the possibility of ending up in one makes me cringe. With a massive thanks to the Pluto/Scorpio in me. VenusDiSirius quote:Originally posted by ail221:Sagittarius influence will pretty much obliterate any "earthiness" or at least most of it.Yes, obliterate. A good word!
